Assam BJP Protests Against Mallikarjun Kharge Over Remarks on PM Modi’s Father

Guwahati: The Assam BJP staged a protest at Sarusajai on Monday, October 26, demanding an apology from Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge over his controversial remarks concerning Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s late father during a speech in Patna.

BJP workers gathered outside the Bhogeswar Baruah Sports Complex, raising slogans against Congress leaders. Nagaon MLA Rupak Sharma warned that the party would launch a larger statewide agitation if Kharge failed to apologise for his remarks.
