Zubeen Garg Death Case: Lurinjyoti Gogoi Questions SIT Probe, Demands Accountability

Guwahati: Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) president Lurinjyoti Gogoi has questioned Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma over the investigation into Zubeen Garg’s death, alleging that a weak chargesheet filed by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) allowed two accused to secure bail.
Gogoi also questioned why the Chief Minister had not been questioned despite publicly describing Garg’s death as murder. Alleging attempts to divert attention by targeting Garg’s wife, Garima Saikia Garg, he demanded transparency in the investigation and accountability from the state government and police.
