Assam BJP Thanks Voters After Campaigning Ends

The state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) expressed gratitude to voters after campaigning for the 2026 Assam Assembly elections concluded.

Party spokesperson Mita Nath Bora said the election process remained largely peaceful and highlighted strong public participation during campaign events led by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

She stated that the BJP campaigned on development achievements, eviction of illegal migrants, and land distribution to the poor, claiming these initiatives gained wide public support.

Bora also credited party leaders, including state BJP president Dilip Saikia, along with central leaders and workers, for conducting extensive campaigns across the state.
