Assam BJP to Hold Month-Long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’

Guwahati: Assam BJP will launch the month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan – Jan Seva is Narayan Seva’ from September 17 to October 17, with Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma urging workers to connect with people through service activities. The campaign will include blood donation camps, healthcare programmes, cleanliness drives, Anganwadi initiatives and youth-focused activities.

A statewide blood donation drive will be held on September 19 in memory of Zubeen Garg, while the campaign will begin on September 17 with the lighting of ‘Ashirwad Banti’ across Legislative Assembly constituencies. BJP state president Dilip Saikia called on workers at all organisational levels to participate actively in the month-long programme.
