Assam Book Fair Sales Touch ₹6.8 Crore on Day 13

The Assam Book Fair continued to draw large crowds on its thirteenth day at Khanapara in Guwahati, pushing total book sales to ₹6.80 crore, an increase of ₹50 lakh in a single day.

Jointly organised by the Assam Publication Board and the All Assam Book Publishers and Sellers Association, the fair saw steady footfall throughout the day. Noted Odia author Paramita Satpathy interacted with readers, while the day also featured discussions on Assamese theatre, cultural programmes, and the release of the translated play collection Chakravyuh.
