Assam Braces for Sweltering Heatwave

Meteorologists predict scorching weather conditions in Assam over the next two days, with maximum temperatures expected to soar above 35 degrees Celsius in various districts. The regional meteorological department warns of hot and humid weather due to partly cloudy skies and high solar insolation. The temperatures are anticipated to be above normal by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius in some areas until May 16, 2024, according to the weather bulletin issued by RMC Guwahati.
