Assam Chief Minister Announces Pilgrimage for 25,000 Devotees to Ram Temple in Ayodhya
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma revealed on Monday that the state government plans to facilitate the pilgrimage of 25,000 individuals from Assam to the recently consecrated Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The initiative is aimed at enabling devotees from Assam to undertake the religious journey. The announcement comes after the grand consecration ceremony held on January 22, 2024, presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which was attended by various VVIPs, including politicians, actors, cricketers, spiritual figures, and industrialists. The temple was opened for devotees on January 23, 2024, following the consecration ceremony.
