Assam CM Announces Arrest of 6 Bangladeshi Nationals in Border Crackdown
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced on Friday that Assam Police, in collaboration with the Border Security Force (BSF), apprehended six Bangladeshi nationals attempting to cross the border. The operation, based on intelligence about suspicious activity, took place on Thursday in Meghalaya’s East Jaintia Hills district.
