Assam CM Sarma Criticizes Congress for Ignoring Attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma criticized Congress for staying silent on attacks against Hindus in Bangladesh while focusing on issues in Gaza. Speaking at a BJP event in Jharkhand, Sarma highlighted the worsening situation in Bangladesh but expressed hope for improvement through diplomacy. He accused Congress of supporting global Muslim causes while neglecting Hindus and mentioned a decline in the Hindu population in Assam and Bangladesh. Sarma also raised concerns about certain districts in Assam becoming “mini-Bangladesh” with Hindus as minorities.
