Assam CM Sarma Optimistic About BJP’s Performance in Lok Sabha Elections

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed confidence in the BJP’s performance in the second phase of Lok Sabha elections, predicting victory in four out of five seats in the state. Sarma cited excellent turnout in BJP strongholds and termed the phase “spectacular” for the party in Assam. The state recorded a 77.35 percent voter turnout during the second phase across five parliamentary constituencies.
