Assam Creates 10 New Co-Districts, Total Now 49
Assam added 10 new co-districts, raising the total to 49, to improve administrative efficiency and service delivery. Units include Boko–Chhaygaon, Palashbari, Borsola, Rangapara, Mariani, Teok, Makum, Digboi, Dholai, and Dudhnoi. Eight were inaugurated Tuesday, with two more to follow Wednesday.
