Assam DEE Clears 5,620 Contractual Teacher Applications in Recruitment Drive

A special recruitment drive by the Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) in Assam has cleared 5,620 out of 5,704 applications for regularizing contractual teachers, including 766 from Sixth Schedule Areas. However, 62 applications were removed due to duplicity. Appointment letters for the cleared candidates are available on the DEE website, while Sixth Schedule Area candidates will receive theirs from the Autonomous Council Authority. The DEE has also requested vacancy details for LP, UP teachers, and other posts from district officers by September 19.
