Assam Disburses ₹5,000 Aid to Tea Workers in Nazira

The Assam government distributed financial assistance to tea workers under the ‘Eti Koli Duti Paat’ scheme in Nazira on Saturday. Eligible beneficiaries received cheques of ₹5,000 each, with over 6,000 workers covered across Borbam and Borsila tea estates. Addressing the programme, officials highlighted government initiatives for the welfare and development of tea garden communities.
