Assam Eyes Global Investments with Advantage Assam 2.0 Roadshows

Assam’s IT and Science Minister, Keshab Mahanta, met Malaysia’s Deputy Minister of Investment, Mr. Liew Chin Tong, ahead of the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit. Mahanta held roadshows in Kuala Lumpur, engaging over 150 businesses and leading semiconductor companies to attract investments. Promising discussions focused on integrating Assam into the global semiconductor supply chain. Earlier roadshows in Thailand, Bhutan, Mumbai, and Delhi have set the stage for the summit, scheduled in Guwahati from February 25. Singapore has been announced as the first partner country for the 2025 summit.
