BJP Leader Found Dead in Tea Garden Amid Magh Bihu Celebrations

The body of 35-year-old BJP leader Naveen Ghimire was discovered in a tea garden in Barajuli, Biswanath, on Tuesday. Ghimire, who had participated in Magh Bihu festivities the previous night, was found with visible injury marks, raising suspicions of foul play. Locals suspect murder, citing cuts on his leg and signs of assault. Behali MLA Diganta Ghatowar and the Manab Adhikar Sangram Samiti have demanded a swift investigation. Police have sent the body for postmortem and launched a probe, while the incident has cast a shadow over the celebrations.
