Assam Governor Reviews Higher Education Initiatives

Assam Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu briefed Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya on the Higher Education Department’s projects, policies, and future plans during a session at Raj Bhavan on Friday. The Governor expressed satisfaction with the department’s roadmap to make Assam a hub for higher education and emphasized enhancing the education ecosystem to boost human resource development.

He highlighted the importance of implementing the National Education Policy 2020 effectively and urged the department to adopt innovative strategies for educational excellence. The Governor called for collective efforts to advance the state’s education sector and contribute to its overall growth.
