Assam Panchayat Polls Phase 2 Campaigning Ends; Voting on May 7
Campaigning ended for the second phase of Assam’s panchayat polls scheduled on May 7 across 13 districts. BJP, led by CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, focused on welfare schemes, while Congress highlighted unemployment and inflation. Over 91 lakh voters will decide the fate of 29,608 candidates.
