BCP AGM Stresses Innovation, Sustainability for Tea Industry’s Future

At its 80th AGM, the Bharatiya Cha Parishad (BCP) emphasized sustainability and innovation to address rising costs, climate change, and productivity issues in the tea industry. Outgoing chairman Nalin Khemani urged diversification and use of technology, while speakers like Paban Singh Ghatowar and Prabhat Bezbaruah called for quality improvement and strategic marketing. Sarvesh Saharia was elected BCP chairman for 2025–2027.
