A month after Assam’s beloved icon Zubeen Garg’s sudden demise, thousands gathered at his samadhi in Sonapur on Sunday to honor his memory. Fans from across the state offered flowers, lamps, and prayers during a day-long remembrance that began with Bhagavat Path and continued with devotional songs, musical performances, and a bhaona at night. Over 200 flautists and 2,000 devotees participated, turning the cremation site into a sea of light, music, and emotion.
