Assam Police Seize Yaba Tablets Worth ₹57.5 Crore in Cachar, Two Held

Cachar: Assam Police seized 2.3 lakh Yaba tablets worth an estimated ₹57.5 crore from a truck in Cachar district and apprehended two persons in connection with the seizure. The tablets were reportedly hidden in a specially concealed compartment inside the vehicle to evade detection.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared the information on social media, praising Cachar Police and Assam Police for their action against drug trafficking. The identities of the apprehended persons and the origin and destination of the consignment have not yet been disclosed.
