Assam Police seizes over 18 KG Morphine Worth Rs 10 crore

Assam police seized morphine weighing over 18 kg, worth nearly Rs 10 crore in the international market, in Nagaon district on Monday. Two people have been arrested in this connection, said police.

Nagaon SP Leena Doley said, “So far we have come to know that the accused are from Guwahati’s Basistha area. We are investigating the matter. At present, there are no past records of those accused who have been arrested. However, we are looking into it.”
