Assam Police STF Seizes Rs 8.3 Lakh in Counterfeit Currency in Guwahati

The Special Task Force (STF) of Assam Police seized counterfeit currency worth Rs 8.3 lakh in Guwahati’s Khanapara area on Monday evening. The operation, based on intelligence inputs, also led to the recovery of Rs 1.28 lakh in legitimate cash. Three individuals, including a woman, were arrested, and their vehicle and mobile phones were confiscated. An investigation is ongoing.
