Guwahati, Assam: Assam has attracted investment proposals worth over ₹5 lakh crore during the past decade, Finance Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah said at a pre-Budget consultation meeting in Guwahati. He credited policy reforms, infrastructure development and an improved business environment for the state’s growing appeal to investors.
