Assam Rifles Seize Arms, Drugs Worth Crores in Cachar; One Detained

Assam Rifles, in a joint operation with Cachar Police on April 20, recovered arms, narcotics, and cash from Jurkhal area in Cachar district based on specific intelligence inputs.

The seizure included a .32 pistol, an airgun with telescopic sight, around 10,000 Yaba tablets worth ₹3.12 crore, 23 grams of heroin, ₹14.9 lakh in cash, and a mobile phone.

One person has been detained and handed over to police for further investigation and to trace other accused.
