The Assam Semiconductor Conclave 2024, held at Kar Bhawan, Guwahati, emphasized Assam’s rise as a semiconductor hub. Organized by the Industrial Development Corporation and the Industries Department, it gathered global industry leaders and policymakers.

State Minister Bimal Borah highlighted Assam’s role in India’s technological growth, while Tata Electronics’ Ashish Mishra outlined opportunities in job creation and R&D. The Jagiroad semiconductor facility and plans for “Advantage Assam 2.0” in 2025 were key focal points.
