Assam to hand over investigation of Junmoni Rabha’s death to CBI

A 30-year-old woman police officer, Junmoni Rabha, was killed in a mysterious road accident in Nagaon district on May.

Four days after the mysterious road accident, the Assam police on Saturday said it has decided to hand over the investigation of the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) due to “public sentiment and for an impartial probe”.
