Assam to Receive Rs 379 Crore for Flood Relief

The Centre has approved Rs 2,117.85 crore in advance flood assistance for seven states, including Rs 379.35 crore for Assam under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF).

Union Home Minister Amit Shah approved the release on August 14. The funds will support immediate flood relief, rescue, rehabilitation and recovery efforts in the affected states.
