Assam Youth Drugged, Looted, and Thrown from Train in Madhya Pradesh; Rescued and Returning Home

In a disturbing incident, Dipanta Phukan, a resident of Golaghat, Assam, was drugged, looted, and thrown out of a moving train in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, while on his way to Mumbai in search of employment. The miscreants left him unconscious with severe injuries, discovered by locals who promptly rushed him to a local hospital in Jabalpur.

Upon learning of the incident, the police were informed, and arrangements were made to contact Dipanta’s family. The victim has now returned to Guwahati, Assam, and is set to undergo treatment at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) after this harrowing ordeal.
