Assamese Artist’s Work Reaches the Moon

Priyanka Rajkakati, an Assamese space scientist and artist, has sent her acrylic artwork, Brahmaputra by Sunrise, to the Moon aboard NASA’s Firefly Blue Ghost Lander. Displayed digitally as part of the LunARC Gallery, the piece symbolizes humanity’s creativity. The artwork, inspired by Assam’s flood resilience efforts, was exhibited on all seven continents before its lunar journey. The LunARC initiative supports global education, poverty alleviation, and climate resilience through art.
