Assam’s Gunotsav 2024 Results Announced, Recognizes Top Performing Schools

The Elementary Education Samagra Shiksha Assam revealed the Gunotsav Result 2024, showcasing that 35.75% of schools attained an A+ grade. Sivasagar district secured the top spot for the third consecutive time, followed by Dibrugarh and Jorhat. With over 44,000 government schools and enrolled students assessed in January 2024, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma highlighted the significance of Gunotsav in enhancing education quality. He emphasized the increase in A/A+ graded schools, aiming for a 100% target. Additionally, CM Sarma announced incentives for A+ grade schools, scholarships for minority students, fee waivers, and mobility grants, showcasing the government’s commitment to education excellence.
