STF Assam Busts FICN Operation, Detains Two in Guwahati

The Special Task Force (STF), Assam, conducted a significant operation in Guwahati, detaining two individuals involved in Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) worth Rs. 50,000. Acting on specific intelligence, the STF raided a residence in Pub Sarania under Chandmari PS, where the suspects were found operating FICN machines. The accused, identified as Saifuddin Suja and Debraj Karmakar, were residing as tenants in the house. Alongside the counterfeit currency, the STF seized mobile phones, a Honda Dio scooty, and a Wagonr VXI. Investigations into the matter are ongoing to uncover further details.
