Sarbeswar Basumatary, a distinguished farmer, was recognized for his contributions to various agricultural schemes. Meanwhile, Drona Bhuyan, an exponent of Suknani Ojapali and Deodhani dance, was also honored.

Sarbeswar Basumatary, born on April 8, 1962, serves on the Advisory Board of the Fishery Department in Chirang district and is associated with Krishi Vigyan Kendra and Sericulture. He has been promoting agricultural initiatives since 2017.

Drona Bhuyan, born on January 1, 1956, emerged from a humble background and devoted his life to folk culture.
