Bajali Police Crack ATM Theft Ring, Arrest Three Suspects

In a significant development, the Bajali Police apprehended three suspects and recovered substantial evidence, including cash, ATM cards, a vehicle, and mobile phones. The investigation, led by Additional Superintendent of Police Trinayan Bhuyan and Officer-in-Charge Anup Patiri of Pathsala Police Station, stemmed from a complaint by senior citizen Laksheswar Talukdar. Talukdar reported suspicious behavior at an ATM near Highway Chowk, where miscreants allegedly swapped his ATM card and looted 51,000 rupees from him. The arrested individuals—Asif Ikbal Hussain, Nurrudin Khan, and Sahil Ahmed—are currently under investigation as the authorities continue to probe the case.
