Bank of Baroda Launches AI-Powered bob World 2.0

Mumbai: Bank of Baroda has launched bob World 2.0, its next-generation mobile banking app, as part of its digital transformation drive. The application was showcased at the Global Fintech Fest 2026 on September 11 in the presence of Financial Services Secretary Sanjay Lohiya, Bank of Baroda MD and CEO Dr Debadatta Chand and the bank’s Executive Directors.

The new platform uses artificial intelligence and a microservices-based architecture to offer personalised and secure banking services. Key features include voice-enabled payments and navigation, personal financial management tools and customised services for groups such as senior citizens, women, NRIs and millennials. The app also incorporates multiple layers of security for real-time protection.
