Guwahati: Assam remembered iconic singer and musician Zubeen Garg on his first death anniversary, with schools and fans across the state paying tribute to the beloved artiste. Students of Assam Jatiya Vidyalaya in Noonmati sang his songs as a mark of remembrance, while Garima Saikia Garg expressed gratitude for the continued love and respect shown to Zubeen.

At Zubeen Kshetra in Sonapur, hundreds of admirers gathered to remember the singer, raising slogans and hoisting flags carrying messages such as “Joi Zubeen Da.” Two men from Nalbari also shaved their heads as a mark of mourning while demanding justice for the artiste. His songs continue to resonate across Assam, keeping his memory alive among his fans.
