Bhutan Seeks Police Training at Assam’s Lachit Borphukan Academy

Assam DGP Harmeet Singh announced that Bhutan has requested police training at the Lachit Borphukan Police Academy. The institute, already training officers from states like Manipur and Goa, is expanding its role in regional law enforcement. Built in its first phase for ₹167.4 crore, LBPA offers advanced facilities and aims to be India’s top police training centre.
