Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari Threatens India Over Indus Waters Treaty Suspension

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari issued a stark warning to India following its suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack. He declared, “Either our water will flow through it, or their blood will.” Bhutto-Zardari accused India of using Pakistan as a scapegoat to distract from its internal security issues. The deadly attack in Pahalgam, which killed 26 civilians, was claimed by the TRF, linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba. Pakistan’s government is reassessing key projects in response to the crisis. The Indus Waters Treaty, signed in 1960, governs water distribution between the two nations.
