BJP Demands Arrest of Mahmood Madani Over ‘Anti-Assam’ Remarks

The BJP has demanded the arrest of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind leader Mahmood Madani for allegedly making anti-Assam remarks by linking eviction drives with Gaza and Palestine. State BJP spokesperson Jayanta Kumar Goswami said Madani insulted Assamese self-respect and viewed issues only through a communal lens. He warned that parties like Congress, AIUDF, Raijor Dal, and AJP could enable infiltrator dominance if in power.
