BJP Launches Innovative Approach: Mobile Vans Hit the Road to Shape Election Manifesto
Siddhartha Bhattacharjee, the coordinator of the Manifesto Committee Coordination for the state BJP, inaugurated a fleet of 28 mobile vans dedicated to facilitating interactions between party leaders and the public. This initiative aims to gather public opinions for the preparation of the party’s election manifesto, departing from the traditional approach of solely relying on discussions among party leaders.
The public engagement drive will extend until March 15, with the BJP emphasizing the importance of public voices in shaping their manifesto. Recognizing the diverse needs of different regions, the manifesto will focus on addressing collective public needs. Both digital and door-to-door methods will be employed to collect feedback from every constituency.
As part of the initiative, suggestion cards will be distributed for public submission during door-to-door outreach, and digital submissions can be made through the NOMO App. An alternative option allows individuals to voice their opinions through voicemail by giving a missed call to 909090202024. The BJP’s state vice president, Rekharani Das Boro, media convener Dewan Dhrubajyoti Moran, and others were present at the program held at the party head office.
