BJP Welcomes Formation of Dibrugarh Development Authority

The Assam BJP has welcomed the State Cabinet’s decision to establish the State Capital Region Development Authority, Dibrugarh (SCRDA-D), calling it a major step towards developing Dibrugarh as Assam’s second capital.

The party also congratulated Prasanta Phukan on being given charge of the new authority and praised the government’s decisions to increase Dearness Allowance and Relief for employees and pensioners, along with measures to improve promotion opportunities for Grade-IV staff.
