Preparations in Full Swing for Ambubachi Mela at Kamakhya Dham

The Kamrup (Metro) district administration has intensified preparations for the annual Ambubachi Mela at Kamakhya Dham, with plans in place to ensure a smooth and safe experience for devotees.

District Commissioner Swapneel Paul said temporary accommodation camps will be set up near Pandu Port and Kamakhya Railway Station. Arrangements for transportation, crowd management, sanitation, drinking water and medical services are also being made, while detailed advisories for pilgrims will be issued after June 15.
