BLOs Complete Door-to-Door Voter Slip Distribution in Sivasagar Ahead of 2026 Polls

Ahead of the Assembly Election 2026, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have completed a door-to-door distribution of Voter Information Slips (VIS) in the 95-Demow, 96-Sibsagar, and 97-Nazira constituencies.

The drive, conducted as per guidelines of the Election Commission of India, began on March 29 and continued until five days before polling.

Officials said the initiative aims to ensure all eligible voters receive essential voting details in advance, promoting smooth and informed participation in the elections.
