BPF Announces 11 Candidates for Assam Polls

The Bodoland People’s Front (BPF), an NDA ally, has released its list of 11 candidates for the Assam Assembly elections.

Key nominees include minister Charan Boro (Mazbat), Rabiram Narzary (Dotma), and party chief Hagrama Mohilary’s wife, Sewli Mohilary, from Kokrajhar. Sitting MLA Durga Das Boro has been dropped.

Mohilary expressed confidence that the NDA will win all 15 seats in the region. The election will be held on April 9, with results on May 4.
