Brick Hurled at Assam MLA Rupjyoti Kurmi’s Car; No Injuries

A brick was thrown at MLA Rupjyoti Kurmi’s vehicle near Borchapori Tea Estate in Bokakhat on Wednesday night, shattering the windshield. Kurmi, along with family members, escaped unhurt. The attacker fled the scene, and police have launched an investigation. Kurmi urged strict action, warning of rising attacks on political convoys. The incident follows a similar June 29 attack on Agriculture Minister Atul Bora’s convoy in Golaghat.
