BTC Election Campaigning to Halt from September 20

The District Commissioner of Kokrajhar, Masanda M Pertin, has announced that campaigning for the 2025 BTC elections will end at 4 PM on September 20, 48 hours before polling closes on September 22. This applies to constituencies 7-Fakiragram, 8-Dotma, 9-Banaragaon, 10-Debargaon, 11-Baukhungri, and 12-Salakati. During this period, all election-related meetings, processions, propaganda, and entertainment activities are prohibited. Outsiders not registered as voters are not allowed. Authorities urged strict adherence to the Model Code of Conduct for peaceful polls.
