Bus Accident in Meghalaya’s Ri Bhoi District Injures Multiple Passengers

A passenger bus traveling from Ladrymbai to Guwahati overturned on National Highway 6 near Umling in Meghalaya’s Ri Bhoi district, injuring several passengers. The accident occurred around 7 AM, with passengers alleging reckless driving and excessive speed as the cause. Injured passengers were taken to Bethany Hospital and Nongpoh Civil Hospital. The bus blocked the road temporarily before police arrived to initiate legal action. The driver fled the scene.
