New Flight Service Connects Tezu and Guwahati; Rupsi Airport Resumes Operations
A new flight service connecting Tezu in Arunachal Pradesh with Guwahati in Assam has been launched, facilitating both leisure and business travel. Chief Minister Pema Khandu announced that Alliance Air will operate flights four days a week—Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday—to enhance connectivity and support economic growth.
Additionally, passenger flights resumed at Rupsi Airport in Kokrajhar after nearly a year of suspension. Alliance Air will connect Rupsi with Guwahati and Kolkata, addressing local concerns about connectivity and economic development following the earlier halt of services by Flybig Airlines.
