Child Marriages Can End by 2030 with Supreme Court’s Support: Activist

Child rights activist Nirmal Gorana highlighted poverty and lack of education as key reasons for ongoing child marriages in India. He believes proper enforcement of Supreme Court guidelines could eliminate child marriages by 2030.

Gorana, who was a petitioner in the case, shared personal experiences and challenges faced in collecting data, noting that states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Assam have the highest cases.
