CID Arrests Three More in Assam SIM Card Cyber Fraud Case

Assam CID has arrested three more individuals in a cybercrime case linked to illegal SIM card use, taking total arrests to eight. The accused were picked up from Morigaon and Nagaon districts.

The network allegedly targeted young women, collecting their documents on the pretext of training and using them to open bank accounts for fraudulent transactions. Police said investigations are ongoing to dismantle the racket.
