Class 9 Student Killed in School Assault in Sipajhar

A Class 9 student at Padum Pukhuri High School, Sipajhar, was fatally attacked by a senior student on Sunday night. The victim suffered severe injuries and was declared dead at Mangaldai Civil Hospital.

The altercation occurred between classes when a Class 10 student, along with three others, dragged the victim from his classroom and assaulted him. Police detained the four students, and one has confessed involvement.

The victim’s father blamed school authorities for negligence, while investigations continue.
